Elizabeth Owens is a native to DeSoto County, Mississippi with a passion for the law and a desire to help people. She graduated from Hernando High School in 2002 and from Delta State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. She graduated from the University Of Mississippi School Of Law in 2009. She went into private practice and has continued private practice ever since.

She holds a license to practice in the State of Mississippi, the Mississippi Supreme Court and Court of Appeals, the Northern and Southern Federal District Courts and the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals.
